About SolarNova

Solar Nova’s founder Joe Seraphin, is a native of Loudoun  County, Virginia, and a passionate environmentalist. His solar company is focused on saving energy and money for all his clients.

As a graduate of Mary Washington College his interests in solar energy led him to train in Commercial Electrical work and Solar Installations. In the community he volunteered with local environmental groups Loudoun350 and CCAN. During 2014, Joe rallied in opposition of the Stonewall/Panda Power gas-fired electric plant in Leesburg. He continues to support his community as a basketball coach and a writer of editorials for the Loudoun Times Mirror, aimed at raising awareness of local and national environmental issues. Joe also enjoys construction, travel, the outdoors, and of course; Solar Energy!
